Something new

Yesterday I tried something different. I grabbed my children and headed for the lake with the intent of photographing my daughter in front of the lake, at sunset with Mt. Hood visible in the background. It was cold but fun.

I was in manual exposure, exposed for the background and then filled the rest in with flash. I am in some of the photos, done via remote release, very difficult to do ;) and I am not the most photogenic, hence I am behind the camera 99.99% of the time :)
